WIND Mobile Launches in Canada Starting with BlackBerry Bold 9700

Today is the big day for Canadian consumers and wireless industry in Canada, as WIND Mobile launches in Canada after passing many roadblocks from various regulating authorities. Wind Mobile introduces a very different product/service offering from rest of the 3 old service providers Rogers, Bell and Telus. Wind Mobile has introduced wireless services in Toronto/GTA and Calgary area to start with. With great plans and value for money, all their mobile devices are being offered without any yearly contract. Yes!! without any yearly contract. And to surprise even more, Wind Mobile is selling BlackBerry Bold 9700 at $450 vs Rogers $599 – no contract price.

The calling plans starting with $15 and going up to $45 for Unlimited Nationwide calling looks very attractive compared to other carriers. Overall Wind Mobile looks very promising and sure enough, this increased competition will bring great benefits to Canadian consumers.
