The following news that such an app was coming was revealed to us a while back so its no surprise that it is finally released. DIRECTV subscribers now have one more reason to keep their subscription with this new free application. Especially since they released Supercast NFL game streaming last year. The DVR Scheduler lets you navigate the DVR and channels from your BlackBerry giving you access to remotely schedule recordings.
The app lets you search for shows, view channel lineups, and browse using the normal functionality of your DIRECTV DVR. Right now the app only supports the BlackBerry Bold, Tour, Storm, Storm2, Curve (All variations), and the 88XX devices.-as seen on berry review.
