Earlier today the guys over at Tether announced that they released an update for there very popular app “Tether for BlackBerry” Tether is an application that allows your PC or Mac to take advantage of your Blackberry® Smartphone’s data plan, allowing you to access the Internet on your laptop anywhere there is cellular coverage from your Blackberry®. I have used this app many times when I was in a jam and needed internet access in remote locations, on the road or anywhere that I couldn’t get a wifi signal. The update includes a faster UI, bluetooth selections, and a few bug fixes. They are also offering a free trial so you can check it out. Tether, currently only supports BlackBerry devices but they are also about to ramp up the beta program for Tether for Android.
