Downloading Youtube videos to your desktop computer and transferring them via cable to your BlackBerry device can be a tedious process, but thanks to the mobile site Vuclip.com, there is an OTA / Wi-Fi solution for those of us who want to download on the go.
Please note: Following this process using your cellular carriers data network will use some of your allowable data consumption, and may result in overage charges if you do not have a sufficient plan. The size of the video (and subsequently, data usage) can be viewed before actually downloading it.
Open the BlackBerry browser and go to www.vuclip.com
Enter the title of the Youtube video you wish to download, and click Search
Select the video of your choice
Next to Play, click the video quality of your choice
Select Save
Choose the destination folder for the video download. If you’d like to rename the file, you can do so now. Click Save
Allow the video to download, depending on your network speed and the size of the video this could take a couple of minutes
The video is now stored on your BlackBerry device for easy, data-free viewing whenever you’d like
