We already know there are 3 launch events planned for Canada to celebrate the Torch 9800 release, which will be taking place September 21st – 23rd, and we received word last month that Telus would be launching the device come September 16th, so this latest bit of info doesn’t come as much of a surprise. According to internal FutureShop documents, Rogers will be releasing the highly-anticipated device on September 15th, one day before Telus.
While the screenshot shows outright pricing of $999.99, this is apparently temporary within FutureShop systems, and will update to the actual pricing sometime closer to the launch date.
